Atty. Donna has a strong academic background and a passion for learning as well as teaching. Graduating Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines Diliman (UP Diliman) for her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, she pursued further studies, a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Juris Doctor degree in the same university. She was also a scholar of Justice Irene Cortes Foundation and a member of the Pi Gamma Mu Honors Society. 
She is well trained in public policy having served Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago for more than a decade. She is a practicing lawyer, a certified real estate broker, and a professor of law in the UP College of Law. She has taught several subjects such as Legal Method, Torts and Damages as well as Land Titles and Deeds. She is also the President of Upworthy Realty, Inc.
